Meet Francis Aloysius Kennedy.
Inventor of NRG, Frank Kennedy
lived a heck of a life.
Frank was a WW II veteran, and later flew 155 missions as a forward artillery observer in the back seat of an unarmed spotter plane in the Korean conflict.
He earned two Purple Hearts and a Silver Star while leading men on the Korean battlefield.
Frank's innovative block design won the
NY State Governor's Award for Energy Excellence.
When he wasn't inventing stuff, Frank and his wife Jackie raised thirteen kids together, ten boys and three girls.
Frank was still hoisting the sixty-six pound NRG twelve inch blocks when he was ninety.
All Frank wanted was to leave the world a
little better place, and he did.
Thanks for helping to carry on Frank's legacy, one building at a time.
